Definition
A Transgender woman, typically shortened to trans woman, is someone who is in the process of transitioning, has the intention to transition, or already has transitioned, medically or socially, to be a woman. Many Trans women are also transfeminine, but that's not always the case.

The flag was made because the user wanted a definitive flag for transgender women to use that was made by a trans woman.
The layout and majority of the flag comes from the transgender flag, with the main change being replacing the blue outer stripe with red.
The red outer stripes represent the struggles and violence that trans women face, both in their every day life and in the process of transition. The red stripes also represents a shared history of resistance and activism. The pink stipes reoresent femininity and womanhood. The white stripe in the middle represents transition and the distinction from the gender binary.
