These flags are symbols used for more than one identity, instead typically being umbrellas for the community as a whole.
The original pride flag made by Gilbert Baker in 1978
The flag was created to be a symbol of hope and pride for the gay community.
The meanings of the stripes, in order from top to bottom, are as follows

The updated pride flag made by Gilbert Baker in 1979
The flag was updated as the pink stripe was a hard color to get hand dyed consistantly, and the teal stripe was removed to keep the number of stripes even.
The meanings of all the colors stayed the same, only removing the stripes representing sex and magic, the meanings, in order, are as follows

Gilbert Baker decided to update his original flag design, adding one extra stripe to the first iteration.

The Philadelphia Pride flag made in 2017.
The flag was made to bring attention to black and indiginous indeviduals in the queer community.

The Progress Pride flag was made in 2018 by Daniel Quasar.
The flag was created to pay homage to the Transgender community and their fight for rights, with the cheveron shape bein chosen to represent moving forward.
The meanings of the flag stay the same as the 1979 rainbow flag, adding the colors of the trans flag, and a stripe of black and brown. The black and brown stipe represent those of color who are queer, and the black stripe is also used to represent those who live with AIDS, those who no longer live, and the stigma around them.
The Intersex Inclusive pride flag made by Valentino Vecchietti in 2021.
The flag keeps the meanings of the Progress Pride flag, while including even more. The cheveron was expanded, adding the Intersex flag within it.
The meanings stayed mostly the same, adding inclusion for those who are Asexual and Aromantic, those who are Intersex, and anyone else concidered queer.
