What is Intersex?

Intersex is a label used to describe those who's sex doesn't fit neatly into male and female. This can be due to variations in the internal or external genetal structure, hormones, or chromosomes. There are many different variations of Intersex, and one cannot transition into being Intersex.

Intersex variations may be noticable from birth, become noticable during puberty, or never be noticable without tests.
